Bola Odukale is an astute professional with over 30 years of experience spanning across the insurance industry.

She is a 1989 graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria.  She also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

She’s an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers.  She began her insurance career in 1991 as a superintendent at Nigerian Life and Pensions Consultants (NLPC), a foremost insurance broking firm.  At NLPC, through training, she gained expertise in pensions administration and insurance consultancy.  Through hard work and dedication, she rose to become Senior Manager (production) before exiting the organisation in 2001.

Bola Odukale joined Capital Express Assurance within its first year of establishment in May 2001 as Branch Manager.  She successfully undertook various roles and occupied different positions through promotions in the organisation.  She was nominated to the board as Executive Director in 2012 and subsequently became the MD/CEO of the organisation in January 2013.

Bola Odukale, at different times, occupied various positions and played different roles within the insurance industry including, a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) where she rose to become the Deputy Chairman, member, of the board of West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA), member, board of the College of Insurance and Financial Management, member, board of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Company PLC, member, Mentoring Committee of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), member, Insurers Committee of National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), member, Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA).

Bola Odukale exited Capital Express Assurance in December 2023 in compliance with the tenure limit as stipulated by NAICOM.

She is a devout Christian and a mother of three.
